| All RAINSHADOW®
and FORECAST® blanks are rated for power on a numerical basis. A power
of "0" being the lightest and "9" being the heaviest.
"Power" is how much pressure it takes to deflect a blank. The
higher the number the stiffer the blank. Power ratings are series specific.
For example: A "3" power mag bass blank is not the same as a "3"
power saltwater blank. For this reason power ratings are compared within
each series. |

Our 6
step in house inspection process:
1. Measure Blank Butt Diameter:
We measure each blank butt we receive with digital calipers and compare
this to our strict specifications.
2. Measure Blank Tip Diameter:
We verify blank tip size to our published tip top specifications.
3. Measure Blank Weight:
Each blank is carefully weighed on a highly accurate digital scale and
compared to our published specification.
4. Check Blank Flex Height:
Each blank has a specified flex height. We carefully place weight on the
tip and measure the amount of deflection compared to our specification.
This assures the legendary blank consistency for which we are known.
5. Inspect for Blank Straightness:
Every blank is visually inspected for straightness. We are known industry
wide for providing the straightest blanks money can buy.
6. Inspecition of Blank
Finish: We carefully inspect each blank for defects in the paint
coating.
